Practically at the same time, the UK and France announced the introduction of bans. Of course, it will be a while before the bans actually come into force. The main motivator for the ban is the protection of minors, where, despite the ban on the sale of this type of products to minors, they are easily accessible to this social group and the ban, in practice, unfortunately does not work effectively. The second important reason is environmental protection, because EU countries are also aware of the difficulties in disposing of products of this type that contain batteries containing dangerous chemicals.
