„Dar Serca za Dar Serca” auction, a part of „Pomóż Dzieciom Przetrwać Zimę”

Our COO, Bartłomiej Gęca, regularly participates in charity events as a part of an initiative called “Pomóż dzieciom przetrwać zimę”. At the end of 2022, he successfully auctioned two jerseys and a shirt signed by famous athletes as part of the ‘Dar Serca za Dar Serca’ auction.
What exactly did we get?
- The match jersey of the captain and goalkeeper of MKS FunFloor Lublin, Weronika Gawlik with over 100 appearances in the Women’s Natiolanl Handball Team, asigned by Weronika herself, along with the other members of MKS – 22-times Polish Champions.
- The match shirt of Jakub Wachnik, the outside hitter of LUK Lublin, signed by the player himself and other members of the LUK Lublin team.
- The match shirt of Michał Kubiak, the captain of the Polish National Volleyball team signed by the Polish National Team.
These framed items are now displayed at our Chemnovatic headquarters, serving as a daily reminder that helping others is always worthwhile. Check out the photos below.

Noble Gift „Szlachetna Paczka”

Noble Gift “Szlachetna Paczka” is one of the largest social programs in Poland. Since 2001, thanks to the involvement of Volunteers and Donors, thousands of Families in need receive wise, tailored help every year.
November 2022, our colleague Justyna Chudzik organized a collection under the Noble Gift “Szlachetna Paczka” campaign for one of the families in our province. The selected family from Łęczna consisted of 5 people (a young mother with four children: 5, 6, 10, and 11 years old).
The family had various needs, including basic food, clothing, school supplies, and household appliances such as a vacuum cleaner or an iron. Thanks to the help of loved ones and Chemnovatic associates – we managed to collect all the necessary items and donate 22 packages to the family in need.
Next year (2023) we plan to organize ourselves in an even larger group to jointly (under the banner of Chemnovatic) be able to bring help to those most in need.
Below are some photos from the 2022 action.

Charity Football Tournament

As part of a joint relief effort for Ukraine, one of our partner companies, Aliplast, organized a charity tournament that we were pleased to take part in.
The noble idea behind this initiative was to raise funds for sports scholarships for young children from Ukraine. In the spirit of “sport is health”, we hope that the action of even “therapeutic” nature – will give Ukrainian children the opportunity to continue or start a new adventure with sports.
The event was covered under the patronage of Polish Radio Lublin, Gazeta Wyborcza, and TVP3 Lublin.
Summary of the event with a wink 😊 – “As planned, we took 5th place. Not the last one. We gave about 67% of ourselves (by eye) which is all that can be given by the team with the highest average weight and the average age in the tournament, playing without changes (because there were only six of us;-)). The level of the competition was high enough that we had to recognize the superiority, but only 4 teams. This makes us happy and is a good prognosis for the future because we won the match of honor.”

Donation of furniture from the old headquarters to the orphanage

In September 2022, Chemnovatic donated furniture equipment to the Ewa Szelburg-Zarembina Children’s Home in Lublin. The furniture came from the company’s old headquarters, which was located on Turystyczna Street. The furniture was in excellent condition and found new homes with delighted users 😊.
Thanks to this initiative, we brought a lot of joy to the kids, but also ourselves. Sharing and helping others also gives a lot of satisfaction to the donors. Not only that, the kids from the Family Home prepared handmade, unique Christmas cards and Christmas tree ornaments for us as a thank you. These were distributed to the delighted employees of Chemnovatic, making Christmas truly magical! Thank you.
