What are the main differences between preparing e-liquids with freebase nicotine and nicotine salt?

Freebase nicotine juices work well on higher-powered e-cigarettes whereas nic salt e-liquids can be vaped on any type of device. They are ideal for vape pod systems since they do not require lots of power to provide a satisfactory vaping experience but at the same time can be vaped on more complex devices.
