Induction sealing consists of multiple layers. The sealing process takes place after the container has been filled and capped. When heated by an induction machine, the aluminium foil melts the layer of wax that creates a hermetic seal with the container when cooled down.

The induction seal serves two purposes:

• Tamper Evidence – the liner cannot be reattached after opening
• Hermetic Seal – induction liner creates a hermetical seal

PE sealing is made of a compressible PE foam that creates a stable seal against acids, alkalis, solvents, alcohols, oils, household cosmetics, etc. The liner does not attach to the bottle, it is a part of the cap.
